Created in God's physical presence.

The Fall...Sin...Separation...

  • Romans 5:12 “Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned.”
  • Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”
  • Romans 1:18 “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth.”
  • Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death...”

  • Man is separated because of sin.

The Gospel

  • Romans 6:23 “...but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
  • Romans 3:24-26 “...and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as a proptitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God's righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins. It was to show his righteousness at the present time, so that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.”
  • 1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

  • Christ paid the price for sinners.

1. Bearing the image of Christ.

  • Galatians 1:10, 2:20, 5:24, 6:14

2. Multiply...fill the earth with disciples (those who look like Christ).

  • Matthew 28:18-20
  • Acts 1:8

  • Revelation 7:9 “After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands.”
  • Revelation 22:16-17 “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify to you about these things for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star.' The Spirit and the Bride say, 'Come.' And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the water of life without price.”
